Professional skills
Server-side technologies

ASP, Actionsript, Coldfusion, MySql, PHP, Python, Ruby, T–SQL
I have been working with and researching server–side technologies since 2002. Server–side application languages sparked my interest in the field of application development.
My main goal with server–side langauges was not to limit myself to only one application paradigm. I that in order to grow as an application
developer, I should not limit myself to one programming langauge/theory. By incorporating this goal into my everyday development, my skills are always
growing and utilizing the latest ideas and innovations that are set by the application develoment community. I am highly experienced in the above langauses.
Client-side technologies

Javascript, Semantic HTML, HTML 5, CSS
Being a web developer you have to encompass all aspects of web development, this includes client side technology. Throughout my career, I have gained
a passion for attention to detail. This passion has made me strive to be the best at semantic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Without having a core understanding
of these technologies, one cannot make an idea/concept come to life. For the past three years I have developed an addiction to object oriented javascript programming.
This addiction has lead me to build rich clientside applications using JQuery and Backbone frameworks. This couple with a solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, I am able to
deliver impressive and responsive client side interfaces.
Frameworks/Content Management Systems (CMS)

Backbone, Code Igniter, Coldbox, Fusebox, Django, Drupal, Kohana, Ruby On Rails, Silver Stripe
Utilizing Frameworks/CMS enforces consistent coding styles and application structure. By programming in an accepted design pattern, the code you develop
is structured and module making it easy to transfer applications to other developers with no down time. I have utilized frameworks with all of
my projects that I have worked on. I strive to keep up to date with the most popular MVC design pattern frameworks.
database technologies

T–SQL, SQL Server Management Studio 2008, MySql, Oracle, PostgreSQL
You can't have server–side technology without having some kind of data management. This being said, SQL is synonymous with server–side
programming. I have a unique sense for visualizing and consuming data. I have built custom databases for a wide variety of clients. From migrating data from
server to server, or building stored procedures and views to handle a clients business rules, I can acheive any goal presented to me when it comes to data storage, data handling, and data retrieval.
Design

Photoshop, Illustrator
The role of a developer will sometimes encompass web design. While not being a professional designer, I do have the skills to make
changes to design and/or create simple and unique web designs for the given goal.
